This song was inspired by the real life story of Shelley Pennefather. She gave up professional basketball while being one of the top players in the world. Shelley sacrificed her secular life to devote her life to join the monastery of The Poor Clares. She devotes her days to praying for the salvation of all humanity while living in 25 year bouts of complete isolation from the world.
